"Whatever you do, do it for the glory of God."

1 Corinthians 10:31

Our Mission

Southeastern Association of Home Educators (SAHE) is a Christian, volunteer-led, non-profit organization serving Central Mississippi, based in the Rankin/Madison area. SAHE exists to provide a quality, competitive boys tackle football program for home-educated students and students enrolled in a Christian private school without a football program. Our purpose is to honor and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, using football as a vehicle for the physical, mental and Christian development of our children. Our hope is to build an excellent reputation in the community, which will honor the Lord and create a positive reflection on home education.

Our Story

Southeastern Association of Home Educators (SAHE) was formed to bring to fruition a desire of many homeschool families. Although SAHE was founded by Jonathan and Christin Webb, they were simply the vehicle behind the vision of several parents. Seasoned homeschool families saw a need for a homeschool football team who's priority is the players. As homeschool parents, SAHE volunteer leaders understand the unique needs of homeschool families. Our desire is to train up the next generation to be Christ followers in everything they do. We hope to build character and comradery on and off the field between the players and their famililes.

Statement of Faith

  1. The Bible is the divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:19-21).
  2. The Bible is the only Word of God, it is the final and ultimate authority, it should not be added to or taken away from. (Deut. 4:2, 2 Tim. 3:15-17, Rev. 22:18-19).
  3. There is only one true and living God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Matt. 28:18-19, Mark 12:29, John 1:4).
  4. Man is inherently in need of salvation, having been created in the image of God but falling into sin (Gen. 1:26, Gen.  2:17, 3:6; Rom. 5:12).
  5. Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary and is true God and true Man (Matt. 1:20-23, John 1:1, 14).
  6. Jesus Christ’s substitutionary death on the cross provides for the redemption of men from sin. He literally rose from the dead with a glorified body with which He walked the Earth, ascended into heaven where He is seated at the right hand of God the Father. He is the One Mediator, fully God, fully man, in whose Person is affected the reconciliation between God and man (1 Pet. 2:24, Mark 16, 1 Tim. 2:5, Col. 2:9, John 10:30, Matt. 24:30).
  7. All who believe in Jesus Christ are justified by grace alone through faith, on the basis of His shed blood in sacrificial death and His resurrection alone. Salvation is a free gift of God through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and not as the result of good works. It is by grace alone, through faith alone, in our Lord Jesus Christ alone that anyone is saved. Those so justified through Jesus’ shed blood on the cross and faith in Him are eternally preserved (John 3:16, Titus 3:5, Heb. 7:25, Eph. 2:8-9, John 10:27-29, Heb. 7:25).
  8. All who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of, and indwelt by, the Holy Spirit and, thereby, become the children of God (John 3:3, 14:16-17).
  9. The Holy Spirit is fully divine, the third person of the Triune God head. He inspired men to write the Scriptures and enables men to understand the truth. He convicts men of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He calls men to the Savior and effects regeneration. He indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the believer until the day of redemption (Act 5:3-4, 2 Tim, 3:16, John 16:8-13, John 3:6-8).
  10. The regenerated man must walk in faith, dependent upon the Holy Spirit in order to please God (Gal. 5:16).
  11. We believe in the personal return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the just, and the everlasting punishment of the unjust (John 14:1-3, I Thess. 4:13-18, I Cor. 15:51-52, Rev. 20:11-15).
  12. The Church is all people who truly believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior and the Church is the Body and Bride of Christ. Christ is head of the Body, the Church; all believers are baptized into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, and having thus become members of one another (Eph. 1:22-5:22, I Cor. 12).
